Toxicroak -- Mod Review --

Wow, this thing is such a boss in the Rain! What is weird is that there are two Amphibians involved in the Rain xD. This thing got a lot to use, no wonder why its OU! Lets see what it has to be effective.

Bull Frog Tank!:

EVs: 252 Attack, 252 Speed, 4 HP

- Bulk Up
- Drain Punch
- Ice Punch
- Sucker Punch/Bullet Punch

This Moveset is only useable in the Rain effectively. Bulk Up raises its Attack and Defense, which makes it a Tank. Dry Skin and Leftovers gain back HP when using Bulk Up. Drain Punch is STAB and also gains HP back, which is really good which the paired Attack boosts. Ice Punch covers its Flying type weakness which is good. Sucker Punch diminishes its Psychic type weakness, while getting Priority! Bullet Punch is coverage with Priority. Really nice set!

EVs:252 Sp.Attack, 252 Speed, 4 Sp.Defense

- Nasty Plot
- Vacuum Wave
- HP Water
- Shadow Ball/Sludge Bomb

Pretty standard. Nasty Plot boosts Sp.Attack to make it useable. Vacuum Wave is STAB Priority, which is good. HP Water gets a boost from Rain, so why not use it? The other 2moves are either Coverage or STAB. Dry Skin heals you each turn.

As said, Toxicroak is beastly in the Rain and really deserves a mention here. So its a really viable choice for a Rain Dance team All its really missing is Natural Bulk needed to take a Special based hit well but not a real issue.
