Flareon --Rainy Day Review-- 136

Well, we can all see where this is going. Just read on, and I hope you don't have strong feelings for Flareon (Will) cause it is going to take a beating.

Baton Passer:

Flareon (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 HP / 176 Def / 80 SDef
Careful Nature (+SDef, -SAtk)
- Flame Charge
- Wish
- Baton Pass
- Work Up

Yeah, this is the best set for it. Good luck doing anything. Pray that a Water type attack doesn't come your way.

Special:

Flareon (M) @ Choice Specs
Trait: Flash Fire
EVs: 120 HP / 252 SAtk / 136 SDef
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Fire Blast
- Hidden Power [Water]
- Shadow Ball
- Echoed Voice

Yeah... not going to do any good.

So yeah, Flareon loses any power it might have had. 130 attack made using Flame Charge and Fire Fang as STAB moves at least manageable. But with Rain in play, it becomes useless. It only gets HP Water, but the loss of its Fire and the greater damage it takes from Water completely blots that out. NEVER use this thing on a Rain team.
