Hey Gigalith! Physical attacker with no rain supporting moves, also gets a boosted weakness to water in the rain.
Great stuff to work with as a pokemon in general, but in the rain.... Ugh
Mixed:
CrystalClear (Gigalith) (F) @ Life Orb
Trait: Sturdy
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 SAtk
Quiet Nature (+SAtk, -Spd)
- Stealth Rock
- Stone Edge
- Earthquake
- Hidden Power [Water]
Well here is the " I really want to get some kind of ran support out of him " set to run!
Stealth Rock is what his main use is for, considering Politoed doesn't get any hazards to set.
Stone Edge is STAB. Earthquake is coverage. HP Water is why I have all of that insane Special attack invest. Rain boost... It can offer decent coverage against ground.
And that's it. This isn't my recommended set, this is just the set that gives more rain support.
Physical ( Now we're talkin' ):
Gigalith (F) @ Life Orb
Trait: Sturdy
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Rock Polish
- Stone Edge
- Earthquake
- Heavy Slam
Making his typing defensively worse, means that an offensive set is good for Giga too. Sturdy ensures the set up for Rock Polish, which brings you to 324 speed with Jolly.
Stone edge is STAB, Earthquake and Heavy Slam for coverage.
Overall, this guy isn't a rain user. At all.
Rating for the rain -- 2/10
