Yet another reason that I love all Water/Ground types with a passion.
Here's Whiscash, out of all of his Water/Ground type bretherin, this AMAZING fish, got the rain ability!

Whiscash (M) @ Leftovers

Trait: Hydration

EVs: 252 HP / 128 Def / 128 SDef

Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)

- Dragon Dance
- Earthquake
- Waterfall
- Rest

Meet Whiscash.
Hydration allows Rest to be instant 100% healing, meaning unless your opponent has a grass type move on whatever they're using agaisn't you, they're screwed. Dragon Dance is setting up, with Rest support ( And no crits taken ) you should be able to easily get +6 on your attack and speed. Waterfall and Earthquake are dual STAB.
This is the most reccomended Whiscash set to run in the rain.

Whiscash (M) @ Leftovers

Trait: Hydration

EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SAtk

Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)

- Rest
- Earth Power
- Amnesia
- Toxic

Here's his wall set.
Rest is for the instant 100% healing, Amnesia + 252,252 Hp and Defense makes for excellent walling capabilities, Earth Power is for taunt, and Poison and Steel types, Toxic is for everything else.

Overall, this guy destroys in the rain thanks to his 1 weakness typing, and instant 100% healing, along with boosting moves to make his overall use worth while. Whiscash is amazing in the rain!

Rating for the rain - 9/10
